- ABOUT DEBRA BLUTH, CCH
- I have been exploring energetic practices and healing arts for over 30 years. Working with movement and art brought me to herbs, which brought me to flower essences, which brought me to classical homeopathy. My own healing inspires me to help others, and I am an avid researcher. Now, as a nationally certified classical homeopath, certified flower essence practitioner, and clinical herbalist, I am a senior practitioner at Delta Gardens in New Hampshire, and maintain a private practice in Bath, Maine, as well as online. I make many of my own remedies, and some of my essences are sold through Delta Gardens. I teach herbal, flower essence, and movement classes and workshops. My side gig is making organic tea blends -- you can sip some of my favorites over at Coveside Coffee in Portland, Maine.
- For flower essences, I apprenticed through Delta Gardens, and have been so fortunate to have many years of study under a master practitioner and pioneer in the field. My study of classical homeopathy began at Baylight Center for Homeopathy; I then completed my certification through The Academy of Homeopathy Education. I studied herbs through The Boston School for Herbal Studies.
Also a longtime movement and yoga teacher and bodyworker, I am certified as an Integrative Yoga Therapist by Joseph LePage, as a shiatsu therapist by Kikuko Miyazaki, as a Reiki therapist, and I also spent years studying Experiential Anatomy with Sara White. As a forever student of martial and energy arts, I trained with Mark Davis and Arthur Goodridge, and currently study qi gong and tai chi with Trevor Barry and Bill Ryan. In my history as a professional dancer, I served on the faculty of The Boston Conservatory, Emerson College, Clark University, and The Cambridge School of Weston. I hold an MFA in choreography from California Institute of the Arts, and a BS in psychology from Tufts University. My passionate studies of improvisation, shamanic practices, and permaculture continue to inform everything I do.
